  He won by 0.14 seconds. Move the video to 0.26 to see the result.

  Oh yeah! But according to that the American on the left won. Not the guy who crashed.

  It does appear confusing at first glance, but the American's time is 'plus' 00:00.14 milliseconds more than the time set by the Japanese chap. So, for example (using stopwatch time) if the Japanese skier set a time of 01:08.20... then the American skiers time would be 01:08.34.
