Hey, man, don't say you are willing to drink it if you aren't willing to drink it -- even more when that is the foundation of a safety claim you are trying to make.

He didn't say it would taste good, or that it might not give you diarrhea or some other side effect. He was discussing safety, not palatability. This was just a stupid stunt on the part of the interviewer. I could probably eat a cup of dirt and remain healthy, but I'm not going to do it for you.
