  Some people should NOT have guns and Some people should NOT drive a car. We need to call gun control for what it is. It is not a ban on guns but a ban on self defense. Would you rather be in a classroom with one lunatic who has a weapon of any kind and no one to protect or defend or a classroom where a few responsible people are prepared to protect and defend your life and the lives of those around you? Police are not able to teleport. Please take a minute to think about this logically and apply it to some of the past news stories before voting up or down.

This is the kind of silliness that gets innocent people killed. Just because accidents happen in ALL areas of life is no reason to deny people the right to have a chance at coming out of a mugging alive.   What you say does not make sense. Cars kill people, guns, grenades, nuclear bombs. But there is a level of danger to all the above. You can't compare cars to guns ffs.

  You cannot blame a gun, but when a mental case can access a gun so easily, you can blame the gun law. Would you mind then if everyone had access to RPG missiles for example? I bet you would.
